Duration of the re-aducation depends of the
knowledge and commitment
of the karateka. The normal period of retraining is 3 years,here
the student the basic of the Isshinryu acquired.

Ippon Kumite the basics handfoot techniques, Shiho Waza and the basics of Bo and Sai
The 16 upper techniques and 15 under basics techniques (Jugo jodan tai kihon waza and Jugo gedan kihon waza).
The above mentioned techniques are a smal parts of the exams package till shodan Isshinryu.
Ofcourse exists Isshinryu from more techniques, like Goshin kumite , Renshu kumite, and different Bunkai's, out of from the kata's, but that will be learn during the study.
